While the Ferrari 195, which was introduced in 1950 was similar to the Ferrari 166 in style, chassis, and dimensions; the 195's engine displaced 2341cc, a result of enlarging the bore by 5mm. A single Weber carburettor was used on the Inter, or road, version and produced 130 horse power. The competition sport engine however, developed 160 horse power or more thanks to three Weber carbs. Top speed of the road going Ferrari 195 Inter was around 110mph.
