Ferrari Road Cars - Ferrari 250GTL Lusso |
| |
Introduced at the Paris salon in 1962 the Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso turned out to be the last in the line of Ferraris to wear the 250 badge. |
| |
Combining elements from the Ferrari 250 GT SWB and the glorious Ferrari 250 GTO it amazed the public with its elegant, classic design by Scaglietti and was considered to be one of Pininfarina's most successful designs. The layout of the instruments was also unique from Ferraris that had gone before in that the speedometer and rev counter were in the centre of the dashboard. |
| |
The Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso used a Colombo designed 2953cc V12 engine producing around 240bhp at 7000rpm. |
| |
Around 350 Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso's were manufactured before production ceased in 1964. |
